The Brunetti girls are hoping to get Vince Brunetti back to the U.S. from Thailand, where he has been hospitalized for weeks. Vince had been traveling to "continue his goal and journey to explore the world," his daughter, Adriana Brunetti of Absecon wrote on this GoFundMe page. The unexpected stroke "has shaken his life and our family to the core," she wrote. It has now been over two weeks and Vince is unfortunately still hospitalized in Thailand without any form of friends or family by his side.
The 16 and 13-year-old boys were reportedly dressed in camouflage carrying the weapon towards the Greenwood School District just after noon on Tuesday, Aug. 22, according to a state police release.  The school followed lockdown procedures while PSP Lewistown and Aviation searched for the boys.  With help from the helicopter, they were located by state police.  The boys were discovered in the 100 block of North Market Street, Millerstown Borough by Juniata River shooting at targets with a pellet gun made to look like an AR-15, police explained in the release.

A review of CCTV footage confirmed a tip by Internal Affairs that suspected synthetic cannabinoids or K2 was in the section of the facility where Toomey worked. Toomey was interviewed by Internal Affairs and his vehicle and home were searched. Authorities seized suboxone/K2, money, and the phone he used in the alleged drug deals on Dec. 10. The first Black man to work as a reporter for a Capital District television station, Screven, who was 72, joined the CBS6 team in 1977. “As a Black man on TV in Albany in the early 70's, Ken was a trailblazer with a conscience. He even profiled his own family history in the deep south where his great grandfather was a slave,” the outlet said. After retiring in 2011, Screven found more success writing a popular blog for the Albany Times Union, where he “denounced racism, bias, and bigotry in their many forms,” according to the newspaper.
Kevin Figueroa, of Schenectady, died from injuries sustained in the wreck that happened around 8 p.m. Thursday, July 21, in the city’s Mont Pleasant neighborhood, according to Schenectady Police. Investigators said Figueroa was riding his motorcycle westbound on Crane Street when he struck an oncoming vehicle that attempted to make a left turn onto Sixth Avenue. He was not wearing a helmet at the time, police said. Members of the Schenectady Fire Department treated Figueroa at the scene before he was taken to Ellis Hospital, where he later died.

Troopers believe the Norristown native was driving west on US Route 22 in Perr County when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, catching fire.  The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a state police report.  Born in 2001, Ellis was a graduate of Methacton High School in Worcester Township, where he launched his athletic career, loved ones said.  "As a freshman, he proved himself to be an outstanding athlete, earning the prestigious title of All-American in wrestling,"
