Dad Dies In Stafford Crash Days Before Welcoming 2nd Child: Family
Christopher E. Lash, of King George, was not wearing a seatbelt when his 2016 Dodge Journey ran off the left side of Kings Highway east around 2:20 a.m., Virginia State Police said.
Lash's vehicle struck an embankment before it overturned and collided with several trees. Lash was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
A GoFundMe for Lash's family says he leaves behind a 2-year-old son and was days away from welcoming his second child, a baby boy.
The crash remains under investigation.
